New Year, New ChangesThis is the beginning of a new year and with a new year, there always comes change and new challenges. But before the old year is over, I'd like to reminisce and look back at what we've accomplished. In '06, I was blessed to see some of the best artwork from around the country and the world. I also enjoyed all of the letters and the compliments from the people, including parents who came up to me to tell me that Lowrider Arte Magazine is making a difference in their child's home, school or community.
I hope that you get ready, sit back and enjoy this issue. Inside, we talk to one of the most influential urban artists in the nation, Man One, who's mastered his skills with dedication and hard work. This talented individual even runs an art gallery in Los Angeles where he opens his doors to all kinds of artists.
As for what's coming up in future issues, we're planning to extend some of our Contrast departments so your input is really important for us to make the right choice on our changes. So keep your pencils sharp and keep on doing what you're doing because we're making noise and getting the attention of a lot of people out there.
