The artistic legacy of Jesus "Chuey" Quintanar began in the "City of the Aztecs" (Mexico City) where he was born and spent his early years before his family moved to Southern California, the "LBC" to be exact. Chuey's love for art was developed in Cali. He can't remember how long it's been since he started to draw, but he started his carrier as a tattoo artist in 1999.

Chuey's passion for tattoos began when he would look at his older friends who had tattoos and become inspired by the work that they were getting done. One day, his homie Fabian gave him a homemade tattoo machine. It wasn't long before Chuey started to do work on his friends and he hasn't stopped since. Chuey specializes in realistic tattoos like portraits, Aztec images and religious pieces, but don't get it twisted. You can see from the pictures that this top tattoo artist can knock out anything that you have in mind as a permanent impression.

Chuey's work with ink can be seen on many people known in the world of tattoos. Chuey did "The Legend" Aztec piece on "Chuco's" leg and has the religious scene on David's ribs. Chuey would like to thank his family, especially his Mom and Dad, and his wife, Violeta, plus "Pint" and the GTC Crew for all of the support.

If you like what Chuey has to offer, hit him up at Good Time Charlie's Tattooland in Anaheim, California, at 714-827-2071 or at www.gtcchuey.com to schedule an appointment and have a timeless piece done in your flesh.
